I proposed new logo designs and branding concepts for General Implement Distributors® (GID) white-label product lines under the General® brand, which currently encompasses hay equipment, sprayers, and diggers. The objective was to create purpose-driven, category-specific branding that is versatile enough to accommodate future product expansions and partnerships.
For the hay equipment category, I proposed the HayMaker brand. Initially associated with the white-label hay fork attachments, the name is intuitive and impactful, emphasizing its connection to hay-related products. Its simplicity and scalability make it well-suited for future growth within the hay equipment lineup.
For General® Sprayers, I developed the CropGuard brand. This name embodies the sprayers’ critical role in pest control, weed management, fertilization, irrigation, and disease prevention. It aligns seamlessly with the equipment’s purpose, conveying reliability and care while reinforcing its agricultural focus.
For PTO-powered diggers and augers, I introduced the TerraTorque brand. The name highlights the earth-moving power and precision of this equipment, reflecting strength and functionality. The branding is designed to scale to other white-label products in this category as GID’s offerings expand.
Each proposed logo includes four design variations: color, Chrome, Positive Monochromatic (Black), and Negative Monochromatic (White), ensuring adaptability and consistency across a variety of applications, from digital platforms to printed materials. The logos feature clean, minimalistic designs that prioritize clarity and impact, avoiding unnecessary embellishments to maintain professional visual integrity.
Distinct color palettes were selected for each brand to enhance their uniqueness and support the development of brand equity over time. By focusing on cohesive, scalable branding for these product lines, the designs align with GID’s strategic goals, enhance product recognition, and deliver visuals that resonate with customers.
