Alexander Souza, owner of Forty7 Garage in West Valley City, commissioned me to design marketing posters to promote various goods and services in the reception area. The first poster, a 20” x 30” layout, showcased Genuine Volkswagen® Parts, emphasizing their role in optimizing vehicle performance.

The project required a blend of photographic editing and layout design to deliver a polished, professional final product. Using Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom, I captured and edited a striking double-exposure “transparent hood” image of a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, highlighting the parts under the hood visually engagingly. I finalized the layout in Adobe InDesign, balancing clean visuals with impactful messaging to create an informative and aesthetically on-brand design.

Adhering to Volkswagen’s updated branding guidelines was given special care, including integrating the new 2D logo, revised typography, and the refreshed color scheme introduced in 2019. This ensured that the poster aligned seamlessly with VW’s latest marketing standards and reflected the company’s modern identity.

This project highlights my ability to integrate technical photography, precise graphic design, and adherence to brand standards to create high-quality, marketing-focused visual materials. By blending creativity with technical expertise, I delivered a poster that captured customer attention and reinforced VW’s messaging and performance-driven reputation.
